Rich in Phytopigments and Antioxidants

Cvr – Parry’s Organic Spirulina has a very high presence of unique antioxidant phytopigments like Carotenoids, Chlorophyll-a and Phycocyanin.

 

Carotenoids

Xanthophylls (Myxoxanthophylls and Zeaxanthin) and carotenes (Betacarotene) in Spirulina have immune-enhancing properties. Zeaxanthin, a major xanthophyll in Spirulina, is extremely important in protecting the macula (a part of the retina), and preventing age-related macular degeneration.

Chlorophyll
